In 2010 PMa was asked to join the team of native American artist Lillian Pitt to assist with her entry for the Celilo Falls Interpretive Center. Lillian had been one of three artists asked to submit concepts for a small gathering and learning structure at the entry point of the cantilevered boardwalk designed by renowned artist and architect Maya Lin. Our architectural concept was a modern interpretation of the traditional native American plank buildings.
