After completing a perfect restoration of this 100 year old Portland four square, Jason and Laura were interested in gently adding a modern bathroom suite without compromising the consistent craftsmen architecture of the house. The solution was to float a walnut “cube” in the room, held back from all four walls of the existing space, creating a distinct, modern insertion that respects the original house.
